What to expect during a treatment session? We will start with you finding a comfortable lying position on a soft mat in a quiet room.
We will take some time for a conversation about your wellness goals and check in about how you are feeling.
The treatment applies massage to pressure points and muscles, either gentle or firm depending on your preferences. You will be guided through hip, shoulder, and other joint rotations and stretching. Throughout the treatment you will be asked only to relax.
Our session ends with checking in with your body, questions you may have, and individualized recommendations for home practice between sessions.
What should you wear? You’ll want to wear comfortable clothes that allow free and easy movement. Sweatpants and a tee shirt or exercise clothes work well.
What can you expect after the session? Depending on your session goals you may feel energized or relaxed. Tension will melt away. Clients often feel a sense of well being and discovery about their own bodies. Effects can include flexible and fluid movement and improved posture.
